50 years ago today the Magic Kingdom open its gates to the public. Disney is celebrating the big 5-0 with celebrations throughout all 4 parks. This 18 month celebration is brining all sorts of new magic to Disney World. Starting October 1s at the Magic Kingdom an new fireworks show called Disney Enchantment, this takes place near Cinderellas castle and down mainstreet USA. Over in Epcot the new highly anticipated Ratatouille ride opens in the France pavilion along with a crepe restaurant. Epcots World Showcase is also debuting a new fireworks/nighttime spectacular called Harmonious. At Animal Kingdom a new show called Kite Tales featuring kites and songs from popular Disney characters.
