Over the summer Universal Orlando opened a whole Minion themed area including a new ride where guests are trying to become the next supervillain. This ride is unique in that you stand on a moving walkway and have handheld blasters.

The ride queue makes you feel like you are walking around Villain-con, the convention for villains that was part of the Minion movie. There are so many fun easter eggs, every time we go through we find something new.

Everyone will get one of these E-Liminator X blasters, they also have smaller ones for little kids but these do not actually work like the full-sized ones.

Once you have your blaster a cast member will assign a specific colored spot on the moving walkway. The screens for game play are on both sides and the movement of the floor meant having to readjust a lot.

The game is easy enough, you use your blasters to shoot at objects on the screen to earn points. If you have the Universal app you can also link your phone to keep track of your scores.

The ride does not have a height requirement so everyone can ride however they do not allow for babies/children to be held during the ride for safety reasons. The kids really liked this new ride but I did not care for it and the last thing you want after standing in lines all day is a ride where you also have to just stand the whole time.
