The Port Orleans French Quarter is a moderate level resort in the Disney Springs area. This resort is one of the smallest in terms of rooms on Disney property which makes it easy to get around and one of our favorite resorts on property.
The rooms at French quarter come with either 2 queen beds or 1 king. The rooms measure about 314 square feet where the value resorts are about 260 square feet. Port Orleans Riverside resort next door offers room for a 5th person in a fold out twin bed.
Like in the value resorts the sink area is separate from the toilet and shower, the difference is there is double sink.
The room came with a single pot coffee maker but we had the dining plan with mugs so we got our coffee from the resorts quick service area which was just a few steps from our room.
These rooms went under refurbishment not long ago. I really like the space under the beds can fit luggage and made the room feel less cluttered. We really liked the rooms here. We had a portable crib in here and still had plenty of space. We really enjoyed the size of the resort even the farthest rooms were about 5 minute walk to the main building. The only down side to the French Quarter is they almost never have discounts on the rooms.
