This is one of our favorite attractions at the Magic Kingdom and is easily passed over by park guest. If you have seen the first film you know at the end they discover human laughter gives off more energy than screams. In this attraction you are heading to the Monstropolis comedy club.
While you wait in line you can even send in your own jokes that could be told during the show. There is a pre-show video before you enter the laugh floor that gives a code word to include to make sure your joke gets sent to the right group.
The line has plenty of signs and special touches to make you feel like you are inside Monsters Inc. Fastpass+ is available for this show but you shouldn’t need to waste a FP on this unless you are visiting during a busy time of year.
Some are for the kids to enjoy others are funny for the grown-ups in the group.
Once the doors open to the laugh floor you choose a seat and get ready to laugh. The great thing about this attraction is that it’s interactive and changes every time.
There are points in the show where they ask audience members questions if you think your kid would want to participate they usually choose the rows closer to the font and near the middle isle.
The goal of the show is to get enough laughter from the humans to fill up this giant laugh canisters. Each show last about 10 minutes.
You can find the Monsters, Inc Laugh Floor over in Tomorrow land. This is the perfect show to see if it’s raining or during the middle of the day when the Florida sun is hottest. We love this show and would highly recommend seeing it at least once.
