This weekend kicks off the Mardi Gras celebration at Universal Orlando. Between February 1st through April 2nd you can celebrate with evening parade, concerts, street performers and New Orleans inspired food.
The parade is held in the evening and the times vary each day so be sure to check the times guide. It can be early as 5:15pm or as late as 7:45. If you are watching with kids they have a reserved section in front of the Brown Derby hat shop. We stood in front of the Minions ride for this parade which right about where the parade started from.
This year you can even ride on a float, you have to sign up on the Universal App under the virtual line system. You must be in the park and register a few hours before the parade is set to begin. The spots are first come, first serve.
The girls had so much fun catching all the bead and they even shared some with other kids that didn’t get as many and we still had plenty left over.
