Hollywood Studios does not have a lot of quick service dining locations compared to the other parks. One place we dine at most often here is the ABC commissary located behind the theater where the Frozen singalong is performed. The last time we ate here it was all burgers and sandwiches but Disney added some new items including tacos and shrimp curry bowl.

I try to stay away from bread and carbs so the Mediterranean salad sounded good. You can get it with or without grilled chicken for $2 more. To me the chicken really made the salad a meal. Included on the plate was a scoop of hummus and a grilled flatbread which I did try a bite but was disappointed as it was cold and hard, clearly not fresh. I would get this again, it was a large portion so could be share but none of my girls wanted to try it.

My middle kiddo is a seafood lover. She didn’t see anything on the kids menu she wanted so she get the curry rice bowl with shrimp. I was worried that the curry sauce might be too spicy however Disney tends to make any dish with spice a little on the mild side. This dish was really yummy. There was zucchini, sweet potato and tomatoes in with the shrimp and the rice had a sweetness from the coconut that balanced out the spice from the curry. They also had a tofu option instead of shrimp. My 9 year old and I both really enjoyed this so I hope they keep it on the menu for our next visit.

My kids menu here is limited to grilled cheese, uncrustable, turkey sandwich or pork taco. Sides include carrot sticks, fries or apple slices. So my other 2 kids opted to try the grilled cheese and the turkey sandwich. They both liked the grilled cheese and did not touch the turkey sandwich, this was probably because the slice of turkey was a big piece and not the normal thin slices.

The food here was all good and if you choose to eat your meal inside they have props and costumes inside from the current tv shows on the ABC channel.
