In the Jurassic Park area of Islands of Adventure, you will find the discovery center. On the main floor there are interactive exhibits where you can scan dinosaur eggs and learn about DNA. On the upper floor you will find the Burger Digs quick service restaurant and a gift shop.
Throughout the day you might catch one of the raptor eggs hatching. The lab technicians will often choose a park guest to name the newly hatched baby and you will get a certificate with the name as a souvenir.
For the older kids and adults there is a trivia game about dinosaurs called You bet Jurassic.
There are also large dinosaur statues and life size fossils. This is the perfect place for the kids who aren’t tall enough to ride the Velocicoaster to play or to relax in the AC.
