The Morocco pavilion I feel is the most under appreciated pavilion in the World Showcase. It was not added to world showcase until 1984. This is the only country where it is sponsored by its home country the rest all have corporate sponsors. There are 2 table service restaurants, 1 quick service and a princess meet and greet.

You really feel immersed in this pavilion like being a city market place. The King of Morocco sent officials from the government to help Disney in building true to country. Due to Islamic beliefs the mosaics and other art throughout do not have any people and they did not light up the pavilion during the Illuminations show.

Did you know that Morocco is one of the United States oldest Alliances? Neither did I until we visited. Restaurant Marrakesh is one of the table service restaurants here Inside there is a replica of the letter the King of Morocco send to George Washington congratulating him on independence. You can dine on Moroccan and Arabian food, they also have belly dancers along with live music.

Spice road table is the other table service but this one features Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant is right on the lagoon and offers great views of the evening firework show.

The Kidcot station can be found in one of the open air market places.

The Lamps of Wonder is where you will find a meet and greet with Jasmine.

This mosaic fountain is a popular location for a photo op and Disney will occasionally have a photopass photographer stationed near by.

The Tangierine Cafe is the quick service restaurant here. They offer shawarma (thinly sliced meat) with pitas or wraps but still have hamburgers and chicken nuggets for kids but I would at least offer them some of the more authentic dishes. One of the things we love most about Epcot is being able to expose our kids to food and traditions all over the world.

This is easily my favorite quick service in all of Epcot.

The Morocco pavilion is not to be missed, just taking a stroll through and take in the beautiful architecture.
