Universal Orlando just released new details about the Dreamworks land kids area at Universal Studios. This area closed in January 2023 to make way for this updated area which was made up of older, some would say outdated kids characters. The old section had Barney the dinosaur, Fievels playground, Woody Woodpecker and Curious George. Opening June 14th 2024.
The Woody roller coaster has been reimagined as the Trollercoaster. The Fievel playground has been demolished and Shreks swamp has taken its place for a meet and greet area.
The Curious George water play area appears to have been reimagined with a Kung Fu Panda theme.
I was really hoping that Universal would add more kid friendly attractions to this area since both parks have only a few rides without height restrictions. No official date announced other than sometime this summer.
