The Dino-land area of Animal Kingdom is on its way to becoming extinct, with the closure of the possibly the worst coaster on property, Primeval whirl back in 2020 this area of the park has become mostly abandoned with the flying triceratops ride and the extreme Dinosaur ride being the only attractions left. At this year’s D23 expo the Disney team announced plans to change this to a tropical Americas themed area featuring Encanto and Indiana Jones attraction to take over the Dinosaur ride. No details on when construction would begin for this new project so fans of the ride will still have time to enjoy.
