During our cruise we played an interactive game call the Midship detective agency. Disney dose a great job at making sure there is plenty to do while on board. On the Dream and Fantasy you can become a detective and help solve a case featuring Disney characters.
Anyone can play the game you will have to start at one of the two main kiosk on the ship where you will pick up your detective badge. This helps you play the game with interactive pictures located throughout the ship. Once you have been given the quick tutorial you will need to choose 1 of 3 cases to solve. You will grab a guide based on the case yo chose which has a place to write down clues and offers a list of all the suspects.
The 3 cases we could choose from were:
- Case of the missing puppies- The 101 dalmatian puppies that have gone missing.
- Case of the stolen show -The Muppets can’t perform their show without their missing props.
- Case of the plundered paintings-Mickey and the gang need help finding missing painting from around the ship.
The great thing about this game is that you can play at your own pace. The girls really enjoyed playing so we did both the puppies case and the muppets.
The first clue will lead you to a magic picture, these are scattered throughout the ship. At each picture you might search for clues, play a game or be given a location to find more information like the door above. There is a clue on of the fliers on Pepes door.
This is listed as being for guest 9 and older but kids of any age will have fun watching the pictures come to life. The other nice thing is that it gets you around to exploring the ship. I would definitely check this fun game out on your next cruise!
