Disney’s cruise staterooms are made with families in mind. Most rooms come with a queen bed and a couch that turns into a twin bed. Many also have a twin bed that drops down from the ceiling and forms basically a bunk bed for kids. The standard rooms can sleep 3 to 4 guests while these sleep up to 5.

The deluxe family room comes with a third twin bed perfect for kids as these are not long enough for most adults to fit. My 16-year-old was a bit too tall to sleep comfortably on them. During the day the beds are put up and will be made up by your stateroom host in the evening.

The bathroom is split into 2 separate spaces, the first has a toilet and a sink.

The other bathroom has a shower and sink. The shower comes with shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

The veranda comes with 2 chairs and a small table, it offers great views of the ocean, and we watched the fireworks from here on pirate night. This room was the most spacious of the rooms we have stayed on DCL and would be perfect for those traveling with 5 guests.
